Never call the Kingpig (Swinus rex) monster a bore, because it is a boar, and proud of it.
General Information
The Kingpig is a regal swine with the blood of kings running through his veins. It'll tell you so itself, in its grunting, squealing voice, and if you care to question its word, you had better be ready to dodge its swinging scepter. If you take a look at its royal crown you will find that it was not placed on its head by human hands or pig hooves alone, but by the God of Monsters, because the ornamental headdress organically grew there.
Researchers at the Cryptological Institute of San Satanos are not yet certain what causes this particular mutation in some wild pigs but not others, so they have asked that all heroes and heroines encountering one try to bring it in alive.
The age of a Kingpig can reliably be estimated by the elegance of its robes and armor. The older the king, the finer its accoutrements (and likely better at fighting) because it loots everything from heroines, does not spend on its subjects and uses the loot to upgrade its attire. However, a heroine who has challenged a extremely skilled Kingpig is not doomed, for the Kingpig can be magnanimous in battle and will often accept ransom of an artifact or a piece of equipment in exchange for sparing its opponent's life.
Still, better not to risk it, hey?
