The Pillsbury Homeboy (Homeboy fermentum massa) is a monster with bi-polar tendencies and should be approached with caution.

History

For the children of Godville, poking the Pillsbury Homeboy's belly is a rite of passage. It is said that the first "Hoo-Hoo!" you elicit marks your transition to a validated village kid. Parents watch with pride as their little ones approach the Homeboy, tiny fingers outstretched, waiting for that magical giggle. The Homeboy, ever patient and kind, obliges with a chuckle and a twinkle in his eye.

However, beneath this doughy exterior lays a tormented soul. While the Pillsbury Homeboy enjoys the attention and the laughter, there are times when he longs for a bit of peace. As the years go by and the children who once poked him grew into adults, the Homeboy finds himself grappling with mixed emotions. He couldn't quite comprehend why the pokes ceased to bring him joy. A sense of resentment bubbles within the Pillsbury Homeboy.

On particularly bad days, when the memories of incessant poking resurface, the Pillsbury Homeboy transforms. His once warm and inviting demeanor shifts to one of belligerence, his eyes narrowing and his smile turning into a sneer. It is on these days that his mood clouds and encounters with the grown-up children of Godville villages further fouls his once gentle nature.

With a sarcastic tone, he challenges them, "Say Hello to Poppin’ Fresh Homeboy Now!" His voice carrying a hint of bitterness and misunderstanding of the innocent affection that had just been shown him. The adults, taken aback by this transformation, chuckle nervously, unsure of how to respond to the gauntlet thrown by their childhood friend.

Despite these occasional outbursts, the villagers know that deep down, the Pillsbury Homeboy is still the same lovable mascot they have always adored. They understand that his belligerence was merely a phase, a temporary misunderstanding of the love they had for him. And so, with patience and kindness, they continue to embrace their Poppin’ Fresh Homeboy, hoping to soon restore his faith in the simple joy of a belly poke.

Appearance

On good days, the Pillsbury Homeboy is the stuff of local legend; he is a cherished icon. With his soft, doughy exterior and infectious giggle, he is adored by children and adults alike. His signature look—a jaunty chef's hat, a cozy scarf, and unmistakable big blue eyes—make him easily recognizable. The villagers affectionately refer to him as the "Poppin’ Fresh Homeboy," a nod to his delightful demeanor and the joyful "Hoo-Hoo!" he emits when poked in the belly.

However, on bad days when his demeanor turns dark and malevolent, the Homeboy is not nearly as approachable and should be avoided at all cost. Take notice of the wrinkled brow, brooding eyes and frowning mouth as indicators that all is not well with the Homeboy. In this state of poor mood is when heroes should take note and like the villagers, avoid the Pillsbury Homeboy.
