Made a rush patch

The template went to "0 days 0 hours" at 22:00 UTC, so I rush-patched it into its current state. It's definitely off-by-one right now, but I can't get it to display "1 day 0 hours" properly (and "0 days 24 hours" is ugly), so I'm just going to wait another hour before fixing the off-by-one. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 22:56, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

:Wince: Goooood catch. Really should have ordered -1 beers on that 😅 -- Djonni (talk) 23:11, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

Countdown sanity-checking

Duh. Finally clued in that I can just sanity-check the countdown math against the "Next issue in..." line at the bottom of the Godville Times. (I am super on the ball.) ...And looks like it's synced up, currently. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 03:32, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

Now we wait

I'm still nervous about what insanities this template might devolve into over the next three hours, TBH. (Not meant to demean anyone's code, except maybe my own, just that this date-math stuff is hard enough without bringing timezone adjustments into it.) But I guess we can just watch it and make adjustments by hand if need be. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 19:59, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

That was a very good call, turned out, but now that we're past the "limbo window" of transitional time adjustments things have righted themselves, and it should hopefully be smooth sailing from here to the end of the month. (...I had to say it.) -- FeRDNYC (talk) 04:15, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
