Tiny images as icons

So, as many of us know painfully well, all of the original work on the Godwiki was done by desktop user(s) for desktop users with a total disregard for mobile interfaces. We also know that the overwhelming majority of interaction with the Godwiki is done in mobile. And one of our goals is to increase usability and accessibility in general, but for periods who use assistive technologies in particular.

So, I think it's time we replaced the manually px-sized image in the God template with an emoji icon. We've had that ovate in the template since Godwiki dawn, so I suspect some people may be attached to it, but I'd like to replace it with the silhouette symbol: 👤

It's a little less interesting, granted, but since the image isn't scaled up on high-density moving displays nobody ever sees that detail anyway.

It will mean we'll go from seeing this:

I'm open to other suggestions, thoughts and criticisms, but replacing all of these non-scaling icons is one of the things on The List™️ of stuff I've been meaning to fix forever. -- Djonni (talk) 10:07, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

Personally, I don't really care about that picture but simple question : doesn't using the |upright parameter instead of px work for those kind of image? -- WardPhoenix (talk) 10:35, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
Can you show us an example of what you suggest, WardPhoenix? If you do this: {{subst:God}} and save, you can then edit the [[File:... part of the substituted template code and we can see how it behaves on a few different displays. 😊 -- Djonni (talk) 10:45, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
