Beer Golem

Beer Golem many eyes.jpg

Little is actually known of the origins of the Beer Golem, and what the lore relates largely falls into the realms of rumor, myth, and innuendo. The usual story begins in the business of a rabbinical brewer and purveyor of beer, in a quiet, studious part of town.

The day the heroes discovered his pub, the day they discovered all unflavored beers to be kosher, and the day they got too drunk to understand or retain the concept of resting on the Sabbath... those three days were the worst of his life. The next Sabbath, while the people of the neighborhood were resting, heroes and heroines began to wander down the street in search of the rabbinical brewer’s wares.

The brewer, a gentle soul, tried to warn the heroes off, turning them away because they were certainly not angels to be entertained unaware.

📚 Documentation

This is the featured article of the week. Since August 2020, the template have been automated, and will rotate between 53 selected articles.

It is still possible to include another article if one have been nominated through either by adding it to the rotation in place of another or by enclosing the template with a comment tag like following:
<!-- --> and adding the resume manually.

The "Previously featured" line is also automated, so if an out-of-rotation article was included a previous week, it will be necessary to add it manually and to add a comment tag around the replaced . The template with |offset=-1 parameter represent the previous weekly article while the one with |offset=-2 represent the article featured two weeks ago.

A preload message for link to add a section to the nominations page can be found at

Formatting of articles

Intended only to show a summary to the article the following format should be used for a featured resume:

Article title
<div style="float:right;margin-left:0.5em;">

</div>

Summary paragraph(s) of article goes here

(more...)

Previously featured: Previous – Next Previous

Note: Upright parameter can be adjusted according to the picture.

Formatting alternatives

The image can be placed to the left of the text, instead of the right. Which one looks better will depend on the article being featured. Simply reverse the float and margin- style parameters:

Article title
<div style="float:left;margin-right:0.5em;">

</div>
spacer
