This is your Wiki talk page. If you've never used a talk page, it's very simple. Just click or tap where it says Edit. All there is to it, now you're ready to leave your message below. In the grey summary box, be sure to check the "This is a minor edit" box. That will help us keep track of any changes to this page. There is also a Summary dialog box in which you can leave a short description of your message. This will also help us to track the page. You also have a handy preview mode in this area so you can check what your message will look like. When you are done, be sure to click or tap the Save Page box so you don't lose all your work. Thanks a lot for stopping by, and remember to be nice to yourself and others.

It's not required, but I'd really appreciate a head's up before you EXTENSIVELY edit the Righteous guild! Guildwiki. Thanks...

Thank you for stopping by! If you'd care to leave a note, or a word of greeting, we would love to read it. At Righteous guild! we're honored by your presence, thank you for checking us out, and please hurry back!

If anyone has any idea of what our forum thread number is (or how to find it) I need it to complete the link in the Communications section. Thanks, Stang. GOT IT! PAGE 1955, THANKS GUYS!

Add noncopyrighted guild emblem.   Done 10.08.18

Changing print in “whited out” areas back to red. Quotes were unnecessary.   Done 10.13.18

Add a table of contents or directory. Why did the old one disappear? ToCs seen hiding behind images, what's up with that?   Not done 10.13.18

If you have any items to mention on OUR Wiki page, especially BINGO! scores, please feel free to note them below and I Promise to transcribe them as quickly as possible. Thanks!

I need help trying to recreate the past leadership rolls and dates of service. Anyone with information prior to April 2015 (when I joined), please leave me a message here, or pm me  The Mighty Stang , thanks.

Town listings were originally included “In The News” solely as a legacy item, apparently from the days when it was much harder to get a guild notice in the GVT. My intentions are to only post one more 3% level then curtail them for space reasons to only extraordinary occasions (#1 in a location, multiple high scores, etc.). Comments?

At the risk of butting in...

And in response to the final item in #WANTED NEEDS AND NOTES above, I just wanted to point out that the page's TOC has never disappeared, it simply moved below (vertically following, I mean) the ginormous construction banner, which is considered the lead section of the article. Anything that precedes the article sections is the lead, since the TOC automatically positions itself before the first section header on the page.

You can force the positioning, though, by placing the text __TOC__ on a line all by itself in the code, wherever you'd like the TOC to show up. Say, between the infobox and the construction banner. (That'll place it at the far upper left of the page, because the infobox is floated right. You could also add some text before the __TOC__ line, after the infobox, and it would be shown above the TOC.)

While I was in the article's source, I also happened to notice that your entire article is enclosed in a wikitable that's never ended, and the only reason for that seems to be the background coloring. Please don't do that. The same effect can be achieved with a <div> tag that has the same styling as the wikitable, without forcing the whole page into a table structure (notoriously problematic on mobile devices, among other things). Basically, you could replace:

{|align="center"; width="auto"; style="background:#ffffd0; color: black; border:1px solid #000000;"

at the start of the page source with:

<div style="background:#ffffd0; color: black; border:1px solid #000000; padding:4px;">

and also place a </div> at the end of the source, to properly close the div.

If you look in the article's edit history, I made an edit with all of these changes. Then I immediately reverted it, since it's not my page to edit. But if you wanted to apply my changes, you could restore my edit (which looks like this) by going to the page history and using the "undo" link to undo my undo.

(...It's actually less confusing than it sounds. Just click the "(undo)" link that follows "(Undo revision 88434 by FeRDNYC (talk))".) -- FeRDNYC (talk) 11:10, 18 October 2018 (UTC)

His portliness reports:

I saw your edit to my guilds talk page (righteous guild), and checked out your sample edit for the TOC. The problem with it is that the table of guild info gets cut off on the left side with your edit. Any idea why?

My guess is that the issue was seen on mobile. Since there's no way to view an old revision of a page in the mobile view (just discovered that issue), I can't go back and look at how the page rendered on my phone unfortunately. I'll try to make a copy of the page content and do some testing, at some point. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 19:14, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
Actually, I just solved that. (Good thing I posted those links to my edits, above, since that was the only way to see it on my phone.) The issue wasn't with the page, it was an issue with the {{Guild}} infobox template — the table on the guild page here just happened to hide the issue, for some reason. Now that the infobox sizing is fixed, that shouldn't be necessary anymore. I'll do another edit-and-revert for the structural fix to the guild page. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 19:18, 18 December 2018 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── Same deal, I made an edit and then immediately reverted it. You can view my edited version or the differences from the previous version, and reapply it by undoing my revert, from the page history -- FeRDNYC (talk) 19:24, 18 December 2018 (UTC)
