The Swamp of missed kamikazes is a dry, rocky, barren stretch of land. The only vegetation is what remains of a few ancient trees long ago scorched by dragon fire. The remains of dragons are scattered about this wasteland and it is rumored that even more can be found below the cracked, dry earth for anyone willing to dig for them. A variety of carnivorous monsters can be found here munching on the visible dragon bones, and is a good place for finding Sun dogs.
The Swamp is the remains of the Battle of Ark. Many centuries ago this area was split into the western region known as known as Kami and the eastern region was known as Kaze, both named after their rulers as was traditional at the time. The regions were constantly at war with each other. The ruler of Kami was always trying to think of ways in which he could beat Kaze. Eventually an idea came to him. Kami sent his soldiers to the Eastern Magmatic Plumules to capture dragons and began to train them for combat. They would be an elite team and Kami was certain they would win the war for him.
Kami made a deal with Kaze that whoever won the next skirmish would be king of both regions in order to put a final end to their bloodshed.
