The guild was originally to be named as "Chaos Order". It was symbolic of the initial goal of this guild, to be an Organized Crime Group of Godville, however it is simply not possible as heroes aren't usually smart enough to do so. In its current state, its only potential is to be a gathering of Adventurers who seek to be feared, who seek to be known under one group, one where by just muttering its name instead of yours, would strike fear across everyone's minds.

Aurum Sect Overview

This Guild aspires to be regarded as "The Organised Crime Group of Godville"

Chaos

A human prepares to steal from the semi-broken house of an unsuspecting, sleeping person. A summoned monster had easily broken into the house, a feat of strength normal humans couldn't have done as the house was made out of tough material. Thanks to the influence of the "God of Chance", the monster hasn't noticed the human, as the human hastily stole the items. After acquiring the items he could fit into his bag, he called for a close friend of the owner's— to defeat the monster that had been destroying the house. As he has nothing to rely on but on his own durability and defense, he took the attacks while his ally chanted high-tier spells to end the monster.

The owner was notified of the missing items, but it was ultimately chalked up to the monster.

The monster was simply called a "Chaos".

The incident was just one of the many incidents recently happening around town.

However, with the human actively warning others of the "Chaos" that would appear on town, he has been regarded as a hero by most, and people would still live their life casually by thinking they could place their hopes on him, and the defenders of the town. This façade of the human's, along with a bit of luck, was convincing.

That was around 600 years ago, and as time passed, the town was no more, but it had been passed around by surviving generations which had moved to other places. Surprisingly, being righteous was now seen as a "boring honor code" and it led to edgy teens trying to recreate the old legend of the "Chaos Theif", even creating the group "Chaos Order" to perform organised attacks using the iconic monster.

However, the knowledge of magic has been widened, and even previously high-tier spells are now considered mid-tier spells. "Summoning" the Chaos Monster is now easily accessible but so have the spells which could have easily ended it. Also, there are better monsters which you could materialise, or even keep as a pet.

This pretty much just led the group to be seen as evil wannabes, though their knowledge of magic and sword are enough to be considered a threat.

Aurum Sect

The human has returned, but had became a Lich. He retired from stealing, and proceeded to just mostly guide evil adventurers. The Sect at first glance seemed more of a normal gathering of either rowdy or drunk heroes wanting to sound scary. However, members of higher rank are mostly those who have truly no conscience. Using their words to charm other people (since appearance just won't cut it) while sneakily infiltrating their weak points in their sleep. Literally.

Around 56 years ago the Guild Hall was once again, lonely.
