A friendly request to be a little more careful with your edits 😊

Hi there, Equinoxes!

I just wanted to leave you a message here about the contributions you've made to the wiki, in January and today. All of the edits you've made to our community wiki have had to be undone by someone, sometimes taking a bit of work and time to do so.

You seem to be moving pages around randomly, deleting the content of pages and comments on files, and creating talk pages that don't seem to make sense. Now, we assume good faith here: we assume that you are trying to make good contributions, and perhaps you've done some of these things by mistake, and perhaps made things worse by then trying to undo those mistakes without knowing how, et cetera. So it's all fine, we've fixed everything that was changed, and everything's okay. 😊

But we do ask that you take a little more care about editing the wiki. Please remember that you can always use the Show preview button with any edit to see what the result of your change is before you submit something by mistake. You can also simply leave any Godwiki window that you've come to by accident or made a mistake on without saving or continuing with what you're doing. This will save everyone a lit of time and trouble. 😊

I'd like to add that, while we assume good faith and want to encourage everyone to contribute as best they can, if after this message to you we continue to see these kinds of bad or nuisance contributions, we're going to assume that it's intentional vandalism, and the Godville administrators may step in to prevent further problems. But we don't want that, we want to have lots of great, positive contributions from lots of great, positive contributors, and we want you to be one of them. 😊

If you have any issues or questions, you can add them to this page and one of our experienced and helpful editors will surely come along and help you out. All edits or changes made to the Godwiki are public and visible to every Godville player, so one of us is sure to see your question and help you out.

Have fun! -- Djonni (talk) 11:43, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
