Template talk:Delete

Can it be changed so that delete doesn't link to the article's talk page. I think it really bulges the list of requested articles

Displaying on the template page

I debated the removal of the <includeonly>...</includeonly> tags around the template, but had decided against it. Because now, with the template displaying on the page, there's kind of no way to tell that Template:Delete hasn't actually been itself marked for deletion.

I mean, if you look at e.g. Template:Die, there's really no difference between how that looks and how Template:Delete looks. It seems inconsequential, but it made me understand the reasoning behind the total <includeonly>...</includeonly> wrapping, in this particular case. I suppose we could add some <noinclude>...</noinclude>'ed styling or explanation, for anyone viewing Template:Delete itself, to make it clear that the example is just an example. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 22:53, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, I see your point, but I think it's important for people who come looking at the template to see what it is, so the <noinclude>...</noinclude> idea I think is a good one. --Djonni (talk) 14:44, 19 November 2018 (UTC)
