I have noticed an extra result from an encourage. I have seen an encourage cause damage with this phrase.

Swift Arrow rushed toward the enemy, praising the heavens.

I will have to watch closely for the next time I see this, but I believe it results in a net loss of only 15 GP and some damage, but no healing. Should this be added to the list of possible reactions to an encourage that are listed here? I've also seen this encourage result, which gains me 10 GP. So he prays for 35 GP.

11:07: Heard a whistle above my head. Quickly fell upon my knees and prayed. I don't know what it was, but was I right, Mighty One?

Adjusted.

Thank you. I had the other encourage result again, but it seems to have healed me just like normal, with no GP gain. It may have done a bit of damage, but I don't think so.

22:31 Swift Arrow felt a sudden burst of energy and rushed towards the enemy, cheering the heavens.

Whenever I've seen that, I've got a HP boost and the only damage was if I was attacking that turn.

24 Nov 11: Removed "usually 3200 gold is enough." from "Why won't it work?" section. Several times I've melted coins into bricks when I had more than 3000 but less than 3200. An influence seems to result in a successful melt in the 3000-3199 range as frequently as it does when the number of coins is greater than that.

Accumulator

"The accumulator is like a back-up and can instantly restore 50% of your power for every charge. This allows your total of "free" godpower to reach 250%."

This could be a bit misleading, as there are more ways to go past three charges for free. There are level up charges, praystation (which as far as I know does not consider your amount of charges), arena charges, and temple charges. Recovered content

This page was lost at some point in the past (2012, I suspect) due to a bug in the GodWiki that was just fixed a couple of days ago (thanks GodGodville !). I'm leaving this talk comment here to bring attention to it for other editors — any usable content here should be merged into the correct articles, and then this page should be... redirected to Godwiki Guidebook, Creators Manual perhaps? Or perhaps it can be a genuine FAQ for the GodWiki, drawn from the questions asked on Wiki Questions Thread? -- Djonni (talk) 06:54, 20 November 2018 (UTC)

I can't imagine there are any actual frequently-asked questions that haven't been asked and answered elsewhere, many times over, during this article's 6-year absence. There probably isn't much of any use there. But still, good to have the article back, especially if it represents a bug fixed! -- FeRDNYC (talk) 10:05, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
Mmm, it was a funny one too — when navigating to this page, the server replied with a Content-Type: application/octet-stream containing the string The MediaWiki FAQ can be found at: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Manual:FAQ, so instead of being displayed it would be downloaded to a 95-byte file called FAQ. I wonder how many Godvillians' 'Downloads' folders ended up with one or several of those in them over the years...
And yeah, this information clearly dates to the earliest days of Godville, when the fundamentals were still largely unexplored/unexplained. -- Djonni (talk) 10:41, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
Heh, I bet I know how that happened. (I'm guessing it was another system message set to an invalid value, since there most definitely is a faq system message. That's the exact same thing, effectively, that left Main Page redirecting from INVALID-TITLE for howevermany years.) -- FeRDNYC (talk) 18:12, 20 November 2018 (UTC)
