An The next major project your will embark upon once completing a temple in Your honor is the construction of an Ark. Completion of an ark can be created after getting requires the collection of 1000 logs of Gopher gopher wood. Building an ark is the second of five goals heroes aim to accomplish during their lives. An ark can only be built after a hero completes their temple. Because arks are a very recent technological invention in Godville, only a few of the benefits are known to the gods.
Construction
After completing the construction of a temple, a hero or heroine will begin collecting gopher wood by finding temple offerings, collecting pieces successfully exiting through the treasury in dungeons, completing epic quests, accomplishing and side jobs during its initial construction phase, and winning fights in the arena. Gopher wood logs are less common in Godville than gold bricks, so collecting these will take your hero or heroine longer than it took to complete the temple.

Once the thousandth log has been collected, the hero or heroine will be able to embark on an entirely new adventure: sailing. As your hero or heroine continues to collect gopher wood logs, the completion of the ark will continue to climb over 100%. Every 1000 logs collected will allow the hero or heroine to add another deck onto the ark, with the ark growing more powerful and useful with each additional deck.

Additional Pet Benefits
Once a hero or heroine finishes constructing an ark, the hero they will gain the ability to store up to three pets in it. After receiving a "Put into ark" command from the deity (50% godpower), the hero will make a mental note, and will place the their current pet in the ark upon return to Godville and, after that, will be free to tame a new pet. Switching a pet by the heroor heroine's side with one in the ark also costs 50% godpower. Note, if a god Deity would like to switch a pet with one in the ark (in other words, put the current pet in the ark and take a pet from the ark out), click "In the ark" and choose the pet to switch. Do not There is no need to put the current pet into the ark (50% godpower) and then remove a pet from the ark (50% godpower), well, unless a god wants to waste godpower.  Accordingly, a hero with an ark can have up to four pets (three in the ark and one at the hero's side). This ability removes the pain of separation from a pet should it be knocked out and unable to further gain pet levels.
Ark owning gods finally become powerful enough Accordingly, a hero or heroine with an ark can have up to re-name any of their four pets (three in the ark and one at the hero's petsside). This ability removes the pain of separation from a pet should it be knocked out and unable to further gain pet levels. With each addition 1000 logs collected, another deck is added to the ark, making space for one additional pet to be stored there.
Additionally heroes with a completed ark find Ark owning gods finally become powerful enough to rename any of their hero or heroine 's pets. A pet name can be changed only once.
