The Forsakens Lament|
Small, Woolly Mammal with sad, blue eyes|
Found a discarded diary. Did not see anyone around, but just a bloody sword.
Looking for clues of what could have happened to the owner.

The Shishke Blob's last wish was for a small, quiet remembrance, so I quietly dragged its carcass into the woods before I left.
02:30 Saw a flock of sheep in the pasture. Even a strong, manly hero like me couldn't help but coo and squeak about how cute the little lambs were, with their adorable frolicking and bleating. All except one. It just stood there, staring at me.
02:45 Moved on, and bravely slew a gas giant. But I have a strange, sinking feeling. Something is following me.
04:18 I've seen it three times now. The little lamb. I turn around long enough, just enough to see it walk out behind a tree or rock. When I investigate, it is no longer there. It is very odd, but I am not worried. It is just a little lamb.
05:47 The thing is constantly following me now, trailing behind by two hundred paces. I start to imagine sad, blue eyes boring into my back. This is getting irritating.
07:23 This is infuriating! It just silently walks behind me, staring. It is a lamb, it is supposed to bleat, for gods sake! I keep going, and try to ignore it.
08:15 I can't. I can't ignore it. Those eyes, just drilling into my back. When I face it and yell at it, those eyes just stare at me gravely. I swear the monster is taunting me now.
09:00 The strangest thing is, I have not been encountering any monsters. Complete silence. Just this silent lamb following me...
09:15 Just minutes later, I cannot take it any more. The fiend is obviously a monster. I rush at it roaring, preparing to thrust my sword into it. I expect it to suddenly sprout massive teeth or dodge, but all the lamb does is stare at me sadly as my sword pierces into it's side. A tiny bleat emerges from the lamb's throat, as it slumps down to the ground, blood spreading through white wool.
09:16 Guilt racks my mind. I move on.
10:16 I glanced behind me, and I see it again. The Silent Lamb. Again. No blood on it. Silent, following me. Blue eyes gazing at me. My guilt, regret, and anger flare together violently. I attack.
11:00 I have killed the Silent Lamb nine times now. Each time, it bleats weakly, once, and dies. Each time, I feel horrible guilt sinking into my soul. Each time, it shortly appears again. And I attack it again, out of fear and regret. Again and again.
11:15 This path I have been walking, has not changed for the last few hours. I should have reached Deville by now. I should have found some monsters by now. Or at least seen a single milestone.
12:00 I am on my knees. My soul is too heavy with guilt and despair to stand. The Silent Lamb stands in front of me, not making a single sound, blue eyes staring at me. I raise my head, eyes dripping with tears, and look straight into the little animal's sorrowful orbs. The Silent Lamb bleats once. Now it is my turn to die.
I close the book quickly and run.
