This is a quick-start Monster article.

Comment sections like this (between the open < !-- and close -- > marks) won't be visible on the page. They're just some notes from us to you.

You'll see a few special wiki codes called Templates here, which are surrounded by double curly-braces {{like this}}. The first template inserts our JanuWiki construction notice, which you can see at the top of the page. It's wise to use "Show Preview" often to view your article as it will be formatted for reading; feel free to try it now!

REQUESTING REVIEW: After you've finished writing/editing, and you feel your article is ready to be reviewed (but not until then!), change the word 'construction' to 'review' in the template below (between the curly braces), or, if you prefer, just visit Help:Requests and leave a message that "article _________ is ready", and someone will take care of it.
{{Godwiki event construction|author={{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}}

INFOBOX: Next is an Infobox template. Information for each parameter (after an = sign) appears in a box at the top right of the article. Items can be left blank if you don't know what to fill in, or if it just doesn't apply. There are even more parameters this template understands, we've included the most useful ones. Full documentation is at Template:Monster, and you can always ask for help at Help:Requests. Feel free to delete the comments (between < !-- and -- >), they're just for extra guidance.

| image = <!-- An image filename (e.g. Example_picture_name.jpg). If the filename doesn't exist, this gives you a link to upload it. -->
| caption = <!-- A caption to be displayed beneath the image. -->
| latin =  <!-- a Latin-style species name, if known/made-up -->
| description =  <!-- A short description of the monster. -->
| class = <!-- The class of monster, such as "Humanoid" or "Automata" -->
| habitat = <!-- Where the monster lives or thrives -->
| strong = <!-- Set this to yes if this is a strong monster -->
OVER TO YOU: That's the basics, now it's time to write your article! After this comment you've got free reign to organize and format things however you like. We've inserted some samples and ideas for typical Monster article content, but they're only suggestions. Edit what follows to fit your article, or delete it and just do your own thing. Just make sure to remove any sample text you haven't customized. -->

The '''Monster name (bolded)''' (''Latin name (in italics)'') is a [[monster]] that we might say some introductory things about. This will inform readers about these fascinating inhabitants of [[Godville]]...

After the introductory text, you may wish to divide your article into sections separated by headings.

== Headings start a new section ==

Common sections (headings) for a Monster article include: History, Life cycle.

You might organize some information into lists:
* How to recognize this monster
* Tips for battling this monster
* Other distinguishing features

Whatever you think will be interesting and helpful to other gods, that's what you should include in your article.

An Attributes section can be a good way to wrap up a monster article. It usually has two subsections: a list of Strengths, then a list of Weaknesses.

== Attributes ==

=== Strengths ===
* Strength
* Strength
* Strength

=== Weaknesses ===
* Weakness
* Weakness
* Weakness

<!-- Lastly, the template below inserts the JanuWiki navbox at the bottom of your article. It shouldn't be deleted, and should be the last thing. Any other navbox such as {{Navbox bosses}}, {{Navbox cats}}, or {{Navbox bears}} would also be placed at the bottom, but only in articles listed in that navbox. Category:Navigational Boxes lists all the navboxes available on the wiki. -->
