The Itsy-bitsy Spider (Aranae minima) is just an optimistic little spider that tries to stay in water spout without getting washed away by the rain. They live simply, except when they dance because they've got some moves. And colorful little butts.
All fight with this Monster is a misunderstanding. The Itsy-bitsy Spider only wanted to dance with the heroine, but the heroine thought it challenged her to a dance-off, then understandably proceeded to hurt herself in the process. What is written in her diary afterward is greatly dramatized to save face in front of her Goddess or God.
Summoning Incantation
The following is thought to be incantation for summoning water spout, plus the Itsy-bitsy spider.
"The Itsy-bitsy Spider
Went up the water spout
Down came the rain and
Washed the spider out
Out came the sun
And dried up all the rain
Now the Itsy-bitsy Spider
Went up the spout again"
