  • I finished writing an article for Invisigoth and would like some assistance in reviewing it. Thank you! --Meri the Divine (talk) 15:26, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
    • Review done! Great start to JanuWiki! My only observation is that it's on the shortish side, so if you find yourself inspired to keep going please do, but otherwise, lovely backstory for the poor, tortured Invisigoth. -- Djonni (talk) 11:10, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
  • It's on the smol length side, but I'm out of ideas for the Photo of an invisible man. Thanks in advance. -- WardPhoenix (talk) 15:39, 5 January 2020 (UTC)
    • IMO it's perfect as is! Exquisite composition, lovely use of contrast. What more do you want? -- Cham Almighty (talk) 22:58, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
      • I agree with Cham Almight, nothing wrong with a short article if it's great quality! Just did a small spelling and grammar edit, points up on the pantheon of wikidness now! -- Djonni (talk) 18:48, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
  • Out-of-time machine submitted by Cameil (and went unnoticed). I did a formatting pass, but maybe it need a SPAG pass. -- WardPhoenix (talk) 22:40, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
    • Looked a little further and looked nice enough to me.
  • I did some small additions to two articles, just added a picture to each, and posted here because they'd be easily lost. 1x magnifying glass and the article which was already completed but couldn't find the right photo (and still didn't really) out-of-time machine. -- Cameil (talk) 20:32, 10 January 2020 (UTC)
    • Credited ! Thanks for your work :) --WardPhoenix (talk) 13:47, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
  • Premature obituary - Basically done bar a possible extra section & a picture addition to happen next week (although if anyone gets there first, please do). Will update when ready for SPAG. -- S624 (talk) 22:53, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

  • Morning, I was working with my next part of the chronicles and I just can't get the collapsing right, most of it works but there is a part that is not working. If you could give it a look and maybe a hand it would be much appreciated β€” Preceding unsigned comment added by Some atheist (talk β€’ contribs) 11:17, 27 March 2020
    • You forgot to add <div class="mw-collapsible-content> after the ====Wet Dance==== title. --WardPhoenix (talk) 12:38, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

February 2021

Hi! So I've been editing my Userpage these past few days trying to get the layout right. I've been using display: flex; and I've had no luck with it. So I finally decided to use the Inspect on Chrome and it showed me this. There's a weird div right after the table that is the Infobox. I tried to set its display to none via DevTools to see if I would achieve the layout that I wanted and it did.

So I then checked the Infobox template here in GodWiki and the div also shows up. (Screenshot) I think it's wrapped that's why it's on the left side here. And my attempts to use display: flex in my Userpage seems to have stopped it from wrapping.

Then I checked the Infobox template on Wikipedia and the mysterious div isn't present. (Screenshot)

After checking the code in the Infobox template and checking other templates used in Infobox, it seems to be this.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to remove it or edit it on my page without breaking the rest of the site. I'm not really that well-versed in wikicode yet and I'd appreciate any assistance regarding this. -- Zoombie (talk) 04:35, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Sorry late reply (there isnt enough hours in a day lately!). Haven't taken a proper look at your issue, but i'm still putting a message as both a mental note and to not worry you about having left a message in a bottle πŸ˜….
Though, the infobox is quite old and I never really worked on it itself, but there would be nothing wrong at just testing if removing that div do miracles. At worst, we can just undo the edit and no harms will be done.
Or even better, you could put the whole infobox code into a sandbox, remove the div from it and use it as template to compare. -- WardPhoenix (talk) 22:38, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
Thanks! I haven't thought about putting it in a sandbox and using it as a template. I'll try that and test stuff in the next few days and share the results for everyone to see. I'm starting to think I'm gonna end up opening a can of worms with all my poking with the layout πŸ˜…. -- Zoombie (talk) 04:46, 16 February 2021 (UTC)
Yay! It's fun when cans of worms get opened. Things happen ;) --His portliness (talk) 07:04, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Tried putting |spacer=no on the Usergod arguments but no luck so far. Anyone has thoughts about this? Am I doing it wrong? Worst case scenario, I'll just forego using templates and hard code everything on my Userpage. Haha. -- Zoombie (talk) 08:37, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

I think I found a solution to my problem. Details on my userpage under the "What does {{Spacer}} do?" collapsible for anyone interested. Basically, I'll have to replace instances of {{Spacer}} with {{Clear}} on the Infobox template. If my hunch is correct, this change should not have any visible effect and shouldn't break anything. Just in case, I'm leaving this message here so everyone who reads this will know what happened. I'll also be posting in the forums for people to check if any of the Usergod/Infobox in their pages break. Especially on mobile. (From what I gathered, the {{Spacer}} fix was implemented to solve a layout problem that's happening on mobile.) If someone does report something getting broken in the next few days, then I will revert the change and just hard-code stuff on my page (which I'm kind of already doing anyway πŸ˜…) Otherwise, I'll consider this solved. -- Zoombie (talk) 08:12, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Reverted Infobox template to previous state. My idea broke stuff on desktop. Guess I'll just have to make my own box instead of using the Usergod template. -- Zoombie (talk) 11:56, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Finally managed to fix it with this. There is also plenty of information in the link for best practices on making articles mobile friendly. It's worth a read. πŸ˜€ -- Zoombie (talk) 14:28, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi, I found the Dogfather article to be upsetting and somewhat offensive and tried to replace the content with something better, but I'm somewhat upset by the endeavor and would like someone clearheaded to refine my runzon sentence. ~Dead Espeon

Hey there ! I wasn't not exactly sure what you exactly wanted to, so I went ahead and formatted what you wrote (with a slight rewrite as well, hope you don't mind). If you need anything else don't hesitate to ask again! --WardPhoenix (talk) 16:25, 25 June 2021 (UTC)

https://wiki.godvillegame.com/Aura_of_pacifism Would someone please look at the "Effect" under the picture on the Aura of pacifism? Seems like it should be "Fighting is temporarily less thrilling" based on the article text. -- masteff

I think it's correct. It makes questing less thrilling because there's a lesser chance the hero would fight a monster. -- Zoombie Zoombie's page talk with Zoombie 11:09, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
