Monsters of Godville
Dogfather with one of his puppies
Class Canine
Description Unknown

The Dogfather is a male dog who cares for his offspring. It all started when he mated with a female dog. After mating with her, he stayed around and watched her as she eventually gave birth to puppies. Then, after her puppies were weaned, he chased her away and started taking care of the pups himself.

Heroes consider the actions of the Dogfather as going against nature. They believe that males should only behave like males and females should only behave like females. As a result, they consider him a monster. They also refer to him as “it”. It is unknown why heroes do this. It may be because they question his gender, but it is more likely that they do it to disrespect him, as if they really questioned his gender they should call him the Dogparent, and they call every monster “it” except beasties, pets and boss monsters.
