The Boomerang sock is a convenient throwing weapon. A long forgotten heroine figured out that putting a rock in her sock and throwing it did considerable damage. A hero long after her had the bright idea of attaching a boomerang to the sock. A new weapon was thus created, a deadly throwing sock that always returned to the thrower.
