The Wherewolf (Lupus ubi "where wolf") is a boss-monster that may be encountered at the end of the mini-quest "Laugh in the face of danger."
If you ever run into this creature it will appear very confused and may even ask for directions before attempting to eat your hero's face off. The monster's real problem is that it isn't really sure where it's going, much less where it's been or actually is at any given time. Under no circumstances should you ever allow your hero to give the Wherewolf directions to Grandma's house. The results could be catastrophic.
