The Rock launcher is a small, hand held, catapult. It is a much more powerful, albeit difficult to use, version of a sling shot.

This weapon is not at all accurate and often fails to hit a target entirely. It is useful for destroying sand castles though! The legend goes that it was created by a monster who had a lot of trouble defeating heroes. Long story short, the weapon backfired and killed him. It was then picked up by a passing merchant who found the idea very interesting and some it. Without testing it first... The merchant then mysteriously disappeared... With enough gold to last him a life time.
