Help:Requests

Here you can request editing assistance from other wiki users who have volunteered to assist. (Stressed because nobody is obligated to provide assistance, and there are no guarantees of assistance. So, be polite and be appreciative!)

Instructions: Add a link below to the article you'd like help with, or just give the name if you don't know how to create a link, and (optionally) provide some brief details about what sort of help you need. Someone will take a look and see what they can do to help out.

Sorry for the delay. Working on this now, should be done within 1-2 days — Cham Almighty (talk) 18:20, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
Taking Boartender to edit. — Cham Almighty (talk) 18:23, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
I left talk page reminders for all authors on this list (and Terezka, see below), detailing the new timeline and requesting status updates regarding their in-progress articles. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 21:14, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
There is no way I will be finished with the gnomish beer page by Feb. 10. The "quoted chapter" is just going to be too big. Added what I have to this point to show progress. While I plan to continue working on it, there's just not enough time between now and deadline.
I'll put the gnomish beer quest back on pause and focus on finishing edits. What template should I use to denote "work in progress" outside of JanuWiki? --SourceRunner (talk) 12:14, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
Answered elsewhere. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 02:30, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
My 6 pieces (above) are completed and ready for review. (Didn't mark them individually as that would make a visual mess of FeRDNYC's nice list :) -- Cham Almighty (talk) 11:40, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

  • Looking at Drop Bear (previously included in the list above), I suspect GodTerezka (U • C • T)  may have finished it (it certainly looks finished) and simply forgotten to change the template to {{Godwiki event review}}. I think we should consider that one a completed submission. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 20:07, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
Snagging Drop Bear for an edit. --SourceRunner (talk) 19:17, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done Beautiful work. Smoothed some wording. Not many changes needed! --SourceRunner (talk) 00:31, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done Totentanz did a magnificent job. I can practically taste the beer and blood money in the air. Edit complete. --SourceRunner (talk) 01:28, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done Well done, Muralin! There was a little work to do, but the character of the tavern shone through brightly. —SourceRunner (talk) 04:48, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

JanuWiki review assignments

Review completion checklist
In order of importance

On the article's final edit:

  • Remove {{Godwiki event review}}, with an edit summary.
  • Any further comments, explanations, or compliments on the talk page.

Here on Help:Requests:

  • Move request to "Missions accomplished".
  • {{m|done}}; (Tick.png Done;) in "Review assignments".

On JanuWiki 2019#Progress:

On Template:Navbox JanuWiki 2019:

  • Add the completed or picture needed 📷 icon.

Whenever unsure, copy-paste-edit existing examples. If you miss something or mess up something, someone will fix it.

As JanuWiki articles are marked as complete, we'll assign them to each other here. Articles will be assigned to each editor in turn, ensuring no editor is reviewing their own article.

Articles will be considered ready for review if they appear on Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Godwiki event review, or if the author adds it to this page with clear wording that it's finished.

If your review is taking some time, consider adding yourself as editor to the {{Godwiki event review}} template on the page to make it easier for the author to contact you, like so:

{{Godwiki event review|author=Author's name|editor=Editor's name}}

If for any reason you are unable to complete the review, no problem, just remove it from beside your name or assign it to the next editor. If you feel a page requires special skills, put a comment to that effect under #Writing help or #Wiki coding help above, and someone with those skills will self-assign it.
