Here you can request editing assistance from other wiki users who have volunteered to assist. (Stressed because nobody is obligated to provide assistance, and there are no guarantees of assistance. So, be polite and be appreciative!)

Instructions: Add a link below to the article you'd like help with, or just give the name if you don't know how to create a link, and (optionally) provide some brief details about what sort of help you need. Someone will take a look and see what they can do to help out.

Writing help

(Requests for copy-editing, grammar, spelling, or other English language assistance.)

  • Beerwolf -- Writing complete but lacking picture. May also needs a lot of SPAG (as always with me), and maybe some additions to complete it if found necessary. Thanks as always for your hard work, reviewers :) WardPhoenix (talk) 21:46, 8 January 2019 (UTC)

Wiki coding help

(Requests for assistance with wikicode in articles: Creating links, adding images, using {{templates}}, etc.)

  • Can of ambrosia -- finished editing and the author is happy with it, so we are good to go. However, I did not volunteer to do pictures in general, and that seems to be part of the author's request. Can that part be assigned to someone else? -- Cham Almighty (talk) 05:44, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Can of ambrosia -- Wasn't in JanuWiki 2019 but I think it fit the theme (noticed it exist thanks to my in-game inventory). So complete (even though I think it lack something). Need revision and picture -- WardPhoenix
Assigning to Cham Almighty. — SourceRunner (talk) 23:34, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
Round 1 of editing completed; SPAG, some tweaks to sentence structure and wording etc. so as to improve flow and clarity of meaning (I hope!). WardPhoenix, kindly take a look and let me know if this works for you. (I left a note about it on your talk page too.) Cheers! -- Cham Almighty (talk) 07:10, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
WardPhoenix replied on his talk page earlier today to say he's fine with the edits "so far". As there are no further edits required that I can see, the editing is now complete! -- Cham Almighty (talk) 05:41, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
However, I did not volunteer to do pictures in general, and that seems to be part of the author's original request. Is there also a list of volunteer image creators to which this can be added? -- Cham Almighty (talk) 05:46, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
This should be added to the bottom of the Articles needing improvement table on the JanuWiki 2019 page & tagged in the Navbox as needing a picture. Not able to do this change myself at the moment. -- S624 (talk) 07:12, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done and Tick.png Done, all done. Great work Cham Almighty and WardPhoenix, Can of ambrosia was a great inclusion for JanuWiki! -- Djonni (talk) 09:19, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Tea Rex - I would appreciate formatting help with my draft article, specifically in how to indent the song (poem) in the section Tips for battling a Tea Rex. I tried to do it as a single block, with the same line spacing throughout, but couldn't get it to work. (If you spot and correct any other formatting/template errors, too, that would be fantastic.) Thank you! -- Cham Almighty (talk) 05:34, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done I think under the circumstances / given the options available, the way you had things set up using <blockquote>...</blockquote> makes the most sense. The only change I made was to split the lyrics up into four paragraphs (groups of 2-4-4-2 lines), and I replaced -- with an em-dash entity (&mdash;). -- FeRDNYC (talk) 13:42, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done It looks amazing. FeRDNYC, thank you so much for these changes! (Throwing another 'done' on here so it doesn't look like this topic needs any more work ;) -- Cham Almighty (talk) 17:19, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done, and thoroughly enjoyed :) I left some helpful (I hope) notes on simpler ways to use the templates you used at Talk:Red Bull. E.I.S. Eternal takes back its outright lead! -- Djonni (talk) 15:25, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Thank you so much for the thorough review and edit, and the comprehensive tutorial, Djonni! I'll work with the templates better in the future. That offset method is also going to be useful. -- SourceRunner (talk) 16:10, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Ooh, gimme-gimme! 😁 Reviewing now! -- SourceRunner (talk) 11:56, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done Edit review complete! Changes thoroughly discussed with and approved by Terezka. Beautiful article! Laughed so many times. And with that, The Forsaken's Lament takes the lead! Whoo! -- SourceRunner (talk) 16:10, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Another one for the queue: Beer goggles are done and ready to be reviewed. Thanks! :) -- Djonni (talk) 22:02, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
Done. Absolutely perfect article, no corrections required & love the use of other in-game artefacts, equipment & monster parts (& the descriptions of effects). Bravo Djonni -- S624 (talk) 19:27, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Instant beer tablet - Writing complete, SPAG & sanity check on artefact type requested (isn't actually listed in artifacts or omnibus list). -- S624 (talk) 20:43, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
Mine! I'm on it. -- SourceRunner (talk) 17:06, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done Such a clean execution! This was wonderfully written, S624. -- SourceRunner (talk) 11:34, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Tea Rex — Writing (and picture!) complete, now ready for review. Outside reviewer has already reviewed content and I am confident re: SPAG; my main concern is correct formatting. Thanks! -- Cham Almighty (talk) 10:49, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Done. Very minor formatting changes. Loved the "Let's have tea!" song. -- S624 (talk) 19:44, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Beer-battered beer -- Writing (and picture!) complete, now ready for review. Outside reviewer has already reviewedd content and I am confident re: SPAG; my main concern is correct formatting. Thanks! -- Cham Almighty (talk) 10:49, 8 January 2019 (UTC)
Afterthought: Maybe a quick SPAG scan isn't such a bad idea after all (see "reviewedd" above)... thank you. -- Cham Almighty (talk) 05:32, 9 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done. See edit notes & article talk page. -- S624 (talk) 20:13, 11 January 2019 (UTC)

JanuWiki review assignments

Review completion checklist
In order of importance

On the article's final edit:

  • Remove {{Godwiki event review}}, with an edit summary.
  • Any further comments, explanations, or compliments on the talk page.

Here on Help:Requests:

  • Move request to "Missions accomplished".
  • {{m|done}}; (Tick.png Done;) in "Review assignments".

On JanuWiki 2019#Progress:

On Template:Navbox JanuWiki 2019:

  • Add the completed or picture needed 📷 icon.

Whenever unsure, copy-paste-edit existing examples. If you miss something or mess up something, someone will fix it.

As JanuWiki articles are marked as complete, we'll assign them to each other here. Articles will be assigned to each editor in turn, ensuring no editor is reviewing their own article.

Articles will be considered ready for review if they appear on Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Godwiki event review, or if the author adds it to this page with clear wording that it's finished.

If your review is taking some time, consider adding yourself as editor to the {{Godwiki event review}} template on the page to make it easier for the author to contact you, like so:

{{Godwiki event review|author=Author's name|editor=Editor's name}}

If for any reason you are unable to complete the review, no problem, just remove it from beside your name or assign it to the next editor. If you feel a page requires special skills, put a comment to that effect under #Writing help or #Wiki coding help above, and someone with those skills will self-assign it.
