Here you can request editing assistance from other wiki users who have volunteered to assist. (Stressed because nobody is obligated to provide assistance, and there are no guarantees of assistance. So, be polite and be appreciative!)

Instructions: Add a link below to the article you'd like help with, or just give the name if you don't know how to create a link, and (optionally) provide some brief details about what sort of help you need. Someone will take a look and see what they can do to help out.

Writing help

(Requests for copy-editing, grammar, spelling, or other English language assistance.)

  • Beer Golem — Writing complete. Review definitely needed for grammar, usage, and consistency errors, please. And anything else you happen to see. Thank you! — SourceRunner 5:15 AM GVT, 1JAN2019
Cross.png Not done This is still open — I parachuted in to look at the technical request, below, but I'm not available for a full writing review I'm afraid. Not sure how to handle that situation, in terms of requests, but I'll remove the assignment below... point is, this is still up for grabs. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 16:08, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
Alright. Thank you for all of your formatting work, FeRDNYC. I'll assign editing work to the next person down the list. So... Cham Almighty. -- SourceRunner (talk) 18:34, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
Working on it now (thanks for sending me a note by PM, SourceRunner!). Text edits done, now working on an accompanying pic. Should be done later tonight. -- Cham Almighty (talk) 00:37, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Firstly, love your Beer Golem pic Cham Almighty 😆 I want to say for everyone's benefit though that it isn't completely necessary for the creator not editor to ensure that there's a pic on each article, I think for the sake of our creators we should do the text edits first, mark the article completed, update the "Progress" sections, and then worry about pictures or add the article to the "Something needed" table. (I'm certainly not criticising you Cham Almighty, just making a general observation 😊 I think your pic is fantastic!) -- Djonni (talk) 11:22, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for the tip, Djonni! I agree that sequence makes sense. Will remember that in future. -- Cham Almighty (talk) 21:51, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
I'll do it! Well done, User:WardPhoenix -- SourceRunner (talk) 17:15, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Ale-chemist -- Writing finish because I'm stuck on ideas...Probably need a big load of polish maybe more texts, SPAG and a picture (yeah i know that makes a lot...). Thx in advance! -- WardPhoenix
Assigning this to myself -- S624 (talk) 20:09, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
I've added a picture! -- Shanimal (talk) 01:50, 5 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Exclamation pint -- Not really a writing review request, but I added a crappy picture. If a reviewer can make the check and acknowledgement. Thx in advance!(yeah i love this formula) -- WardPhoenix

Wiki coding help

(Requests for assistance with wikicode in articles: Creating links, adding images, using {{templates}}, etc.)

Missions accomplished

December 2018
  • Lucky starfish grammar/spelling corrections, pleases -- "Fundamentally sound entry that has been lightly edited for SPAG. Main changes: pronouns are regularized to "it", with minor tweaks to spelling and grammar" -- Cham Almighty (talk) 18:17, 20 December 2018 (UTC)
January 2019
  • Exclamation pint — Brilliant! Minor changes: added a couple of links where appropriate, corrected "Monstro City", one duplicate 'the'. Also, it seems the in-game spelling is "liana-eyebrows", so pipe linked. An excellent article! -- Djonni (talk) 11:39, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Bear Minimum - Good article. Some corrections to phrasing made while hopefully keeping Terezka's intent. {{Hero or heroine}} template implemented & made change to 3rd person throughout. -- S624 (talk)
  • Sit in a tavern and write fake diary entries — Triple checked that the templates and offsets were doing what they were supposed to do, removed one or two errant spaces in text, and swapped one “houses” version for the “temples” version to reflect both in GV. No matter how you look at it, this article is an amazing piece of work, and was a pleasure to review. — SourceRunner (talk) 11:52, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Beer Golem — Tried to be thorough, but there are likely many missed linking opportunities, wnd the formatting on the “transcript” portion is not the best, but I’m at a loss for how else to make it work with an indent. Please help. Thank you. — SourceRunner
I took a quick look... I should be able to come up with something. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 04:31, 1 January 2019 (UTC)
Many thanks. Will mark you as the editor of note for beer golem, under the assignments section. —SourceRunner
Tick.png Done Have a look. Technical notes left at Talk:Beer Golem. -- FeRDNYC (talk)
Tick.png Done Completed the text edits and added a picture. See View History for a summary of all changes. Thanks for the fun assignment! -- Cham Almighty (talk) 22:22, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Extra Dry Djinn — Not originally part of JanuWiki 2019, but one that I’ve had my eye on for a while, and seems tangentially related (beer has alcohol in it, gin has alcohol in it, both are for internal consumption...). What do you guys think? Is it allowable? If so, it really needs a good grammar check, because it was written late on a sleepless night. — SourceRunner (talk) 12:09, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Of course it is! Everything's eligible! And since I'm the next volunteer editor in line, it will be my pleasure to give it a once- or twice-over. -- Djonni (talk) 12:31, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
  • Bar tab - Not writing help per se, but have added picture to complete article & request editor for acknowledgement (feels wrong to do this for myself). -- S624 (talk) 19:54, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
Tick.png Done Good impulse. Nautilus joins the scoreboard!

JanuWiki review assignments

As JanuWiki articles are marked as complete, we'll assign them to each other here. Articles will be assigned to each editor in turn, ensuring no editor is reviewing their own article.

Articles will be considered ready for review if they appear on Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Godwiki event review, or if the author adds it to this page with clear wording that it's finished.

If your review is taking some time, consider adding yourself as editor to the {{Godwiki event review}} template on the page to make it easier for the author to contact you, like so:

{{Godwiki event review|author=Author's name|editor=Editor's name}}

If for any reason you are unable to complete the review, no problem, just remove it from beside your name or assign it to the next editor. If you feel a page requires special skills, put a comment to that effect under #Writing help or #Wiki coding help above, and someone with those skills will self-assign it.
