Heros who acquire this aura will be bathed in a soft green aura intensifying to yellow when the hero gets close to some artifact or weapon worth hoarding.

Heroes who acquire this aura will be bathed in a soft orange aura intensifying to yellow when they get close to something worth acquiring. Rather than being permanent, it can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
  
Whilst legend and lore vary the knowledge of this aura greatly, it is widely reported that each monster slain in the battlefield will yield a trophy worthy of hoarding and when in town, the hero will attempt to hoard skills or armour.

This particular aura will encourage the hero to try and get their mitts on anything that moves or can be tinkered with, although they also seem more likely to discard items in a random, albeit humorous, manner. This includes [[artifacts]] and [[equipment]], but definitely excludes the merchant's daughter who, by all accounts, doesn't move very much except to give the hero the occasional slap in the face. Monsters who try and conceal their trophies, cunningly hiding them from the hero, will succumb to this tantalising aura, which compels all slain monsters to yield their trophies (but not gold). Heroes who acquire this aura will be bathed in a soft orange aura intensifying to yellow when they get close to something worth acquiring. Rather than being permanent, it can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
