Artifacts of Godville
“any” key
Type 🧷Normal
Description Unknown

The "any" key is an elusive artifact that has puzzled many over the years. Computers will occasionally request that "any" key be pressed to continue, yet upon inspection of the keyboard, there is no "any" key to be found. This is because heroes and monsters are carrying them around in their inventory as they explore Godville. Precisely why the monsters and heroes feel this is necessary is unknown, as they certainly have no use for the "any" key. Some have speculated that the shape of them causes confusion, that the heroes or monsters carrying them might mistake them for bricks of some sort. However, if you are willing to fight a monster or bribe a hero into handing over their "any" key, the task of pressing 'any key to continue' will no longer be a challenge for you.
