The Terracotta Worrier (Fictilibus anxietas) is a monster that lurks deep underground, constantly obsessing about it's next move, battle, outfit, hairstyle, etc.
General Information
In other words, this thing is extremely anxious and defensive. It will not allow heroes to advance near it's home unchallenged. Despite it's constant emotional upset, this monster is fierce in a fight. This is most likely because it's always on the verge of a complete meltdown anyway and intrusive adventurers just send it over the edge. Heroes in pairs may discover the Terracotta Worrier's lair. Through the concerted effort of two champions it can be defeated.
Powerful strategies for defeating the Terracotta Worrier include making statements like, "I think you forgot to turn off the stove," "You didn't lock the door," and "That hand sanitizer doesn’t actually work." Heroes can also drop burning matches on the ground or simply talk about the economy or the polar ice caps to increase the Terracotta Worrier's anxiety.
