Organising the territories

As WardPhoenix pointed out, This navbox is disorganized, looks like there is a debate on how to place article starting with "The ...". I agree, and it's mostly my fault, heh. This is one of the first navboxes I put together (probably the first, actually, but I can't remember), and it was badly not at all thought out.

Especially because I've come to believe that quite a lot of the Godwiki's Category:Geography articles are Lore, in the sense that they aren't actually in the game, they were created solely as Godwiki articles and we've had them so long they're part of the background now. But territories are so elusive, and appear quite rarely, so it's quite difficult to prove what is and isn't in the game...

There's been talk of a Territories infobox... if we do decide to do that, I'd like it to have a parameter for "source", or similar, to show where in the game the territory appears. Sometimes it will be fixed diary entries that never change (Vector Field is this type), sometimes it will be %some_territory% variable entries, and sometimes fixed newspaper entries. And, where possible, I'm going to start adding verified sightings to articles with {{diary}} (and {{quote}} for the newspaper).

But, besides the challenge of establishing certainty of the game existance of these, there's an epistomological question as to how the navbox should be organised! It could be by game source, as above (newspaper, diary, %some_territory%), or by geography type (bodies of water, hills & mountains, local attractions, etc). I think I prefer the geographical categories, personally.

Oh, and as for alphabetisation, there's no question that articles (the, a, an) should be ignored, all errors are mine! -- Djonni (talk) 19:56, 21 December 2019 (UTC)

Theorically, all articles within the navbox are or were part of the game through random entry including the place (but are rare indeed). And I believe all locations mentionned in the news may be likely to appear in-game, so distinguish by source may be irrelevant. But sorting the navbox ny types could be interesting.
Oh and by the way..... .... {{Geography}} ? 😅 -- WardPhoenix (talk) 23:52, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
One diary entry for the future: 10:12 The B-trees Forest is the ideal spot for a holiday, if you want it to be your last one.. Spotted at the 1st milestone, would be interesting to try & plot locations to see if they're somewhat fixed or could appear anywhere. -- S624 (talk) 10:26, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
18:04 Sent Scratch on a scouting mission into Silly Cone Valley. He returned with badges for knot-tying and helping people cross the street. Somewhere between ms 6 & 8. -- S624 (talk) 18:19, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
