{{Monster}} can now create Beastie infoboxes (since all Beasties are Monsters), it should be used instead of this template. Setting |sea-names= will automatically create a Beastie infobox, or you can add |sea=yes to do it explicitly. So, for example...

As well as categorising a page as a Beastie one, it supplies information about it.
Paramaters:
- image - Optional but preferable The full image file name.
- class - The class of the beastie. e.g. cephalopod, shellfish, amphibian etc.
- habitat - The habitat of the beastie. Remember: beasties are sea monsters, so choose something like kelp forest, reef, or underwater volcano; rather than desert, jungle, or mountain.
- description - A brief description of the beastie's appearance.
