Talk:Final aid kit
Exists?
I can't find any evidence that this item actually exists in the game. It's not listed in any of the "List of..." article tables, nor does it appear in the Omnibus List. In fact, searching the wiki for the phrase "final aid" turns up only this one article as a match, and nothing else links to this article. Is this a real entry? -- FeRDNYC (talk) 13:34, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
- This isn't the place for the epistemological discussion of the difficulty of absence of evidence vs evidence of absence and the problem of induction, but... I have struggled with this question in a few wiki scenarios, especially where different parts of the wiki (e.g., artifact article, "List of...", and Omnibus) disagree. It is a shame that the API no longer shows inventory contents, as that could offer a large enough data set to positively rule out (and rule in) artifact existance, as was used in the original scrape that allowed the creation of the 'List of..." articles. Even having the private API enabled on the English-language Godville would be good.
- But I digress. I agree, there is little evidence to support the existence of this artifact. And it would require a move to Final aid kit if it does exist, to agree with the initial-caps norm for wiki entries. If there's no comment or update to it by someone with a first-hand sighting in the near future, it should probably be {{delete}}d or blanked/#REDIRECTed. --Djonni (talk) 11:03, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
- I had forgotten to mention, here, that I even did a google search, and as far as anything related to Godville "final aid kit" was a bust. We have the Second-aid kit, that's different. And there's exactly one mention of a "last aid kit" in some random forum — though that appears to be about the Russian Godville. However, this name appears unknown. -- FeRDNYC (talk) 23:54, 22 November 2018 (UTC)
- I'll be interested if it shows up for you
S624 , because I'm increasingly inclined to agree that I don't think this exists. A few additional clues... Nothing links here, not even the Omnibus or List of Artifacts, as
FeRDNYC pointed out. Also,
Hairplugs4men 's recent upload of a ridiculous inventory-ful of healing items isn't necessarily a definitive list, but is a pretty good sampling of the healing items that do exist, and it's also absent there.
