The Seashelly (Placopecten Cartoonae) is a small, cartoony scallop that lives on the ocean floor. Unlike most seemingly cute animals and bivalves, this creature is predatory and aggressive.
Seashellies are a surprisingly hostile species of scallop that will even hunt down and kill animals that are much larger than it to serve as its meal. Because of this, they only hunt when they finished eating their food. After hunting, they will spend the rest of the time defending or eating their most recent kill, allowing them to eat undisturbed.
Unlike most scallops, Seashellies are very quick in the water and can travel frighteningly quick. Sometimes, a single hop can send one far enough to reach the surface of the ocean, where it may end up dragging an unfortunate hero down back to the bottom of the ocean to be its next meal. How this small mollusk does this kind of stunt is unknown.
