WELCOME!

This is a quick-start Tavern article.

Comment sections like this (between the open < !-- and close -- > marks) won't be visible on the page. They're just some notes from us to you.

You'll see a few special wiki codes called Templates here, which are surrounded by double curly-braces {{like this}}. The first template inserts our JanuWiki construction notice, which you can see at the top of the page. It's wise to use "Show Preview" often to view your article as it will be formatted for reading; feel free to try it now!

REQUESTING REVIEW: After you've finished writing/editing, and you feel your article is ready to be reviewed (but not until then!), change the word 'construction' to 'review' in the template below (between the curly braces), or, if you prefer, just visit Help:Requests and leave a message that "article _________ is ready", and someone will take care of it.

<!--
OVER TO YOU: After this comment you've got free reign to organize and format things however you like. It's hard to give much guidance on what to include in a Tavern article, since they tend to be quite free-form and unstructured. You can use the Taverns navbox (at the bottom of this and every tavern page) to see what some other Tavern pages are like.

We've inserted some samples of formatting and layout for typical articles, but they're only suggestions. One thing that Tavern articles usually do have is several pictures. You can insert a picture by using a code like this:

[[File:Example_image_filename.jpg|center|frameless]]

Replace Example_image_filename.jpg with the name of an image. If the image doesn't exist, this will create a link to upload it. There are lots of options for how you can insert an image, like changing 'center' to 'right' or 'left'. The page at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images gives you all the options and details.

Edit what follows to fit your article, or delete it and just do your own thing. Just make sure to remove any sample text you haven't customized. -->

== A heading ==

You could organise some things into lists:
* A list of famous drinks
* A list of famous patrons
* A history of significant dates, such as fires, floods, and barfights

=== Subheadings ===

If you like, you can use headings and subheadings for structure, or leave them out entirely.

=== Some formatting ===

You can make text ''italic'', '''bold''', or even '''''both'''''.

<!-- Lastly, the templates below inserts the JanuWiki and Tavern navboxes at the bottom of your article. There are also [[Category:...]] tags that categorize the article into the right categories. They shouldn't be deleted, and should be the last thing. For a JanuWiki Tavern article, these should be the only navboxes and categories in the article.-->
