This document has left many people speechless.

No talking

For safety and (more often than not) to keep the jailer's peace of mind, some inmates in Godville are gagged. But this can't be done at the guards whims, thus gagging orders are issued.

This are small pieces of paper that ask for the approval of a prisoner's gagging. They must be signed by the bailiff in charge.

Usage on the civilian sphere

Gagging orders may also be requested by civilians. The procedure is similar but the intent is of a less professional kind.

We can only affirm that they're used in the kind of dungeons in which heroes are never sent.

Gagging monsters

Seldom we see a monster using a gagging order, as they are often outside and against the law. But in rare occasions they will use this scrolls on heroes for reasons unknown.

Here we have an account from an anonymous heroine:

!Hero's Diary↻
11:00 The Dandy Lion slapped a gag order on me so I can't explain how I got this flask of living water and 129 coins.
