Personal note from Machado:

The idea for the name came while thinking of a possible new monster but I decided to create a guild with the same name. The idea was the monster was going to be a criminal whose crime was being arrested for attempting to kill the God by shooting arrows or other objects towards the sky. This criminal was put into prison and later escaped to wreak havok on all of Godville once more.
